Funday Hat

These Pixie hats are pretty much perfect for any day, but running around on a Sunday Funday seems to be right up their alley more than anything.

Sunday Best to Sunday Brunch

One thing I love about these Milton dresses is how versatile they are. They are cool and casual for almost any event, but they are also modest enough for church and school events.

The Go Places Hat

Talladega! Just one of the places you should wear your 30004 hat. These hats are a fun hometown piece, but traveling around the south and beyond is the most fun. I have learned

The Palette of Late Summer

For some reason, just as August and the dog days hit, I change my color palette to what I call "late summer" which is basically the color of sunsets, I realize. I love oranges, browns, khakis and blushes. Basically, the sunset over the ocean. I must not be the only one because you start to see this color palette in stores, too. Everything is still super lightweight to deal with the heat, but we get to join in as summer fades into fall.

What to Wear on the Hottest Night of the Year

Last weekend, we enjoyed our first-ever Matilda's experience and it was so fun. We grabbed some fun friends, ordered charcuterie, brought citronella candles and other table decor and set up for the most fun evening. I've always wanted to attend a concert there and finally did. But, wow, was it hot!

Wait til You See how I Wore this Mumu Dress

One of the most fun gains from learning to sew is that it has given me options. When I see how garments are constructed, it gives me new ideas or chances to take a few risks. For example, the difference between a sundress and a skirt is not that big. Especially in the case of the Angel Mini Dress from Show Me Your Mumu. I just loved this "spicy tomato" print when I saw it - and I loved the style of dress, but I new it was going to be too short for most things.

Parents’ Weekend Dress - A Fine Line

How to not embarrass your freshman on Parents’ Weekend. Ha! I think we all want to be stylish, appropriate and comfortable during Parents’ Weekend, but there’s a fine line in either direction to frumpy or “Mom, how embarrassing!”

Parents Weekend Style - We've Got Your Weekend Covered

Can you believe its that time of year again? Time to think about college weekends. Sometimes I wake up and realize I'm in and heading into significant different stages of life. Sometimes its shocking, but most of the time I feel ready. My friends went from being snack moms to attending college parent weekends, in what seems like, overnight. But, nevertheless, here we are.
