Visiting anywhere fun this summer?

Today is “Travel Tuesday” and I’m sharing this travel #ootd . Packing matching sets (see yesterday’s post, too) makes getting ready easy.
Also, throw in a solid tank and pair of cut-offs and you have 4 outfits. Different shoes and accessories , including scarves, hats, cardis or denim jackets and you are all set.

What do you think of matching sets?

We’re back to Made it Monday and I wore this matching shorts set last week again. Took it for a spin on a day date. I made it last summer and have gotten a few chances to wear it this summer. Are you a sets person?

I would love to add tops to the Pixie line-up.  I think it would be fun to do some matching sets of shorts and tops or pants and tops.  In my attempt to make this a reality,

One of the most fun parts of our entrepreneurial lives is our weekly meeting.  I know, so nerdy.  In a previous attempt at my own business, I wrote sales team meeting agendas and sold them as a weekly subscription service so I guess I really do like meetings.  But... and it's a big but... 

I guess I'm a theme person.  I make theme dinners, theme decor, theme dress.  Cheesy maybe... ,but I just can't help myself.  So, owning this part of my personality, I impose it on my kids, too.  LOL  

I never dreamed I would get so much use out of this, but I sure am!  It's a black straw hat and I got it at Target to go with a particular swimsuit and now I find myself wearing it all the time. I rounded up a bunch of black straw hats currently available for purchase below.  You'll be surprised how much you find you need one!

I love a good Cuban sandwich... or some paella.  Mouth watering as I write this.  We have always loved LaFonda, but there is not one close to us so it's been awhile.  If I can get my hands on an authentic cuban sandwich occassionally, I'm a happy camper. 

It is also a time to enjoy a long weekend, celebrate the USA and wear red, white and blue.  But, let's face it... it's a long weekend and you may tire of the red, white and blue palette.  

It's Pop-Up Time!  I have been having so much fun picking back up with events for Pixie.  Right after I re-branded from SMIJ to Pixie and got our first Pixie pieces in, Covid lockdown hit.  I was most disappointed in having to cancel all the events we had on our calendar.

This weekend was a little emotional for me.  It marked one year since the world stopped turning.  Each place I went this weekend, it was a topic and it really got me thinking.  I'm pretty sure I was not alone in this.
