I just got back from Yellowstone, but am posting about Acadia.  Makes no sense, I know... 

I've been a print person living in this neutral world for the past few years.  I love fun prints, festive fabrics and sunny styles.  But.... everywhere was just neutrals.  I like my blacks and khakis often, too, but I just got to have my fun.  Imagine my delight when I stumbled across Farm Rio?

I've been seeing this trend show up on jeans and denim shorts and I love it.  Using your scarf as a belt and leave it hanging down like a sash.  Loving it! 

School is so close to being out, I can already smell the fresh cut grass.  You know what that means... time to pull out the horseshoe and croquet sets.  I love backyard games and I've got a new one on order right now.   See it here.

The checkerboard print is everywhere right now.  I guess it's a 90s vibe.  You could go straight to Vans and be all set or here are a few fun ways to add this trend to your Pixie pieces. Start with the Milton Dress in crisp white chambray and have some fun. 

I need these long, patriotic weekends to be much longer than they already are because sporting the red, white and blue never gets old.  A few posts back I shared a couple of ideas for Memorial Day Weekend and here is another one.  You can hold on to this one for the 4th, too.

Festival Scarves are about the most versatile little piece of fabric I've ever seen.  I love to wear them so many ways, including this one.

One of my favorite ways to jazz up an otherwise basic outfit is with a Festival Scarf.  This one in Monstera print gives a nod to spring on a cooler day where I had to bundle up a bit.  Paired it with our new Seagrove skirt in black and white gingham for a spring day.

It's sewing season and this year I tackled my first collar.  I love a nice crisp collar and I must say I did a great job.  I cannot take credit for it, though.

Time to suit up for Memorial Day weekend.  Red, white and blue is the combo which seems so easy, right? But, wow, are there a lot of options!  We have so many just ourselves and that doesn't even count the cute things I've seen come across in the last few days. 

It's my favorite time of year. Strawberry Season! Every year we go and pick our fresh strawberries right out of the field. They are so tasty - and pretty. A bucket of strawberries is God on display. What a gift they are.
