Yes to Rompers in your 50s - First of all, Must We Call Them "Rompers"
I love the romper trend and I am not about to let my age cause me to sit this one out. I don't think I've seen this trend in my lifetime - at least over the age of 3. So, I need to figure out how to make this work now. Enter Frank & Eileen. This is a brand I've always loved. They are grown up, classic, stylish and quality. I've loved their shirts forever and, then, they came out with this "playsuit" a few years ago. It's a one-and-done, classic shirt, but in a romper or playsuit. I think they mastered the grown-up romper. It comes in several linen colors and I said if they ever made it in their luxurious, perfect denim, I'd have to finally make the investment. I even sent them a note asking them to make it in the denim. Well, here we are and here they did. So, living up to my end of the bargain, I've ordered mine. As I type this, I have a notice that mine is out for delivery. I have rompers from Free People (pictured), Roolee (pictured) and Farm Rio, too. I'm fully on-board the grown-up romper program.
