Nordstrom Try-On - Thanksgiving + Pretty Details

I popped into Nordstrom on a fall-like day yesterday.  Of course, a hurricane blowing in provided the gray, windy day more than actual fall temps, but it still had that feel.  I got there just as they opened and entered with an open mind.  Within minutes, I had a vibe in mind and that vibe began with gray jeans.  The rest started taking shape right away.   I often have one piece I want to wear and then the outfit takes shape launched off of that.  Do you operate this way, too?
