Georgia Grown Festive Fun
This
We are loving our USA-Made, Local, Small Christmas. I've committed to only shopping by these three criteria. This extends to food and trees, too. Keeping with the theme, we found a family run farm in North Georgia that we had never visited. It is the Kinsey Family Farm and it was full of Christmas spirit - and the smell of fresh pine trees, which is my favorite smell ever. You can cut your own Georgia grown tree or grab one they brought in from North Carolina. It was so fun to be sipping hot chocolate out amongst the trees watching everyone find and cut their perfect tree.
After all that we enjoyed roasting marshmallows and assembling s'mores fireside. We got to feed many farm animals and enjoy the freshest air. We began the day with BBQ from a local restaurant. Again, we spent money in our community and we got the best gift, overflowing Christmas spirit. We even ran into some friends making it even more fun.
This local Christmas is making 2020 so much brighter. Also, tied my latest Festival Scarf around my neck as another festive layer.
