From Plain to Polished in a Sweatshirt

Do you love sweatshirts?  I sure do!  They are showing up more and more in polished looks, but how do we take them from frumpy to fabulous and still enjoy the cozy comfort?  Here are four ways I like to accomplish this goal.

1.  Add a nice belt and give your sweatshirt a small front tuck to expose just a bit of the belt.  It gives you a little bit of a waist and adds a contrast of color and texture.

2. Pop on a pair of gold hoops at a minimum and feel free to add one or two more pieces to elevate the look a bit.

3.  A fun bag that matches your shoes always pulls an outfit together and often gives a little texture interest, too.

4. Then, the simplest of all moves - add lipstick.  Lipstick has a way of finishing off any look, even a super casual one.
