Current Beauty Go-Tos + a new fave Brand

This summer I've really gotten into beauty and make-up products and it has been so fun.  Super fun for Sephora, too, I'm sure, since they have benefitted the most.  Like so many other things in fashion and beauty, entering the market has become easier and easier and small business-minded people can bring their creativity to market like never before.  We all win in this new era!

I've really been enjoying meeting new brands and products in the beauty category.  I've been getting that summer glow with so many fun products.  I've linked a few that I've been wearing on repeat here so you can check them out, too.  (Pictured are definitely faves.)

We carry my favorite Supergoop products on our website, too.  This Glow Screen is my first step most days and sometimes my only step if I'm heading to the pool or another no-make-up activity.  It is heavenly and so pretty.

Now for a new favorite brand - Merit.  I've linked the items pictured here. Since I took this picture, I've tried more from the brand and just ordered more from the brand. They market a 5-minute, minimalist approach to getting ready and that has me written all over it.  I'm on-board, for sure.  First up, I've ordered their new solo eye shadows.  I've ordered Studio and Vachetta - all pretty neutrals.  I also would like to order Midcentury if I like the two I ordered. I did order the application brush, too.  I needed a new brush and saw a blogger demonstrate this one.  It's a good price, size, etc.

Next on my list is their The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick. I just need to decide what colors to get. I like to mix foundation colors so I'll probably get a few and mix and use a lighter one for concealer.  Stay tuned on that one.

This is a product I have been using with their cheek color.  It's the Day Glow Dewy Highlighting Balm. I basically start under my cheekbones with Bronze Balm Sheer Sculpting Bronzer, do Flush Balm Cream Blush in Beverly Hills for blush and then highlight above that with the Highlighting Balm. It gives you a sun-kissed, fresh look and I love it for summer.

Last, but not least, I've been starting with Great Skin Instant Glow Serum with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid before applying make-up.  It feels great and I'm a sucker for the pretty packaging.

So, there you go!  Lots of Sephora fun happening over here.  Merit keeps coming out with new products so I'll be sure to share if I try them.  Overall, I love their shades and application methods.  I'm a big fan of stick make-up right now and they seem to have that mastered. Also, their neutral, natural colors in every category are winners.  I can never order just one.  I have three of their lip oils because every neutral is perfection and they have the best, deepest brown I've ever found.  It's call Falcon and it's the best color ever in the history of browns. Pair it with Signature Lip in Deep Brown for all you'll ever need this fall.

Ok, I'm done gushing now.  Time to go get some on!
